Complaints

How to raise a complaint with us, with the operator, or with the regulator.

We want to hear from you when something goes wrong. If you spot an error in our editorial content, or if you have a complaint about a lottery operator featured on this site, the process below sets out how to raise it and where to escalate if needed.

  1. Contact the editor. If you have a complaint about something we published, write to [email protected]. We aim to respond within three business days and to publish a correction on record when we are wrong.
  2. Contact the operator. If your complaint is about a lottery product, prize payment, or ticket dispute, contact The Lott (Tattersall's Sweeps Pty Ltd) directly using the contact details on thelott.com. We cannot resolve claims because we do not sell tickets.
  3. Escalate to the regulator. If the operator has not resolved your complaint within a reasonable time, you can raise it with the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission. They publish a complaints form and will act on licensed-operator misconduct.
