Sources we accept
We publish operator filings and licence data from the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) — https://www.vgccc.vic.gov.au. Those are the only two sources we treat as primary. Operator websites and official announcements count as filings. The VGCCC's public register is our regulator of record.
Sources we reject
We do not cite synthetic lottery-betting sites or odds aggregators. Offshore operators without a current local licence receive no coverage. Third-party sites that republish operator or regulator data without linking to the original are excluded. If information cannot be traced to an operator filing or the VGCCC register, we do not run it.
What triggers an update
- An operator changes rules or terms
- The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) revokes or suspends a licence
- A reader submits a correction with evidence
We monitor the VGCCC register for status changes. We do not rely on news reports or operator press releases to drive updates — only direct changes in official filings or licence status.
How we correct mistakes
Corrections are published in place with a dated note at the top of the affected page. We do not silently edit past articles. Readers who spot an error should email [email protected] with a link to the page and the source document that contradicts our text.
