How it works
Set for Life is a daily draw game operated by The Lott in Australia. Each evening at 21:30 AEST/AEDT, seven main numbers are drawn from a pool of 1 to 44, plus two Bonus numbers from the same range. Players select their own numbers or accept a QuickPick generated entry. The draw format means you are picking seven distinct numbers and hoping they match the main balls drawn, with the Bonus numbers used to determine lower prize divisions.
Tickets close shortly before the 21:30 draw time each day. Full game rules and entry details are published at thelott.com/set-for-life. Because draws happen every night, the game offers regular chances to play rather than the weekly rhythm of older lotteries.
Odds and divisions
The probability of matching all seven main numbers to win Division 1 is 1 in 38,608,020. To put that in perspective, those odds are roughly equivalent to flipping a coin and landing heads 25 times in a row. Lower divisions exist for partial matches—including combinations that use one or both Bonus numbers—but we do not have confirmed odds for those tiers. The long-shot nature of the top prize is typical of multi-ball lottery draws with large number pools.
If you win
Prize claims are handled by the licensed operator, not by Numberguideau. If you hold a winning ticket, follow the claim process set out by The Lott; smaller prizes are usually credited automatically to registered online accounts, while Division 1 wins require identity verification and may involve a face-to-face appointment. We publish draw results and game information for editorial purposes only—we are not party to any prize payment, and you should direct claim queries to the operator or to the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission if a dispute arises.
Where to play
Tickets are sold through The Lott's online platform and authorised retail outlets across Victoria and other participating states. Numberguideau does not sell lottery tickets or process entries; we are an independent information site. If you wish to enter Set for Life, visit the operator's official page. Only players aged 18 or over may purchase tickets, in line with Australian gambling laws.
